Building Interior Decorating of Waitrose Lichfield by Michael Aukett Architects. As a result of growing success, Waitrose commissioned Michael Aukett Architects to develop a new ‘generic’ store design strategy in 2004.
Waitrose Lichfield - Michael Aukett Architects
The primary aim of the project was to create a consistent look and feel to new stores.Detailed guidelines allow sufficient design flexibility to ensure each individual store design complements the local environment. The first of these stores is now open.
A contemporary, yet restrained approach to design, combined with a careful choice of materials delivers a durable, high quality scheme for the city of Lichfield.
